## Overview

The Notifications area houses all the reminders and actions required by the sales associate.

## Creating a Notification

Sales associates can create the following types of notification:

- A reminder for themselves or another user
- A task for themselves or another user
- A store-wide/department-wide announcement or reminder
- An announcement to all users

To create a notification:

1. Click on the ‘Create New Notification’ button at the bottom of the screen
2. Assign notification to themselves (‘Assign to Me’), to another user (‘Search Users’) or broadcast to a store, department or all users (‘Broadcast To’)
  - If ‘Search Users’ is selected, a list of all users will appear. The recipient can be selected from the list or looked up using the search bar
  - If ‘Broadcast To’ is selected, the sender can select to broadcast to a specific store(s) and/or department(s). The sender can also broadcast to all users
3. Select when the notification is sent:
  - Selecting ‘Send Now’ will send the notification immediately once it is created
  - Alternatively, the user can specify a date and time for the notification to be sent. The notification cannot be viewed until the specified date and time
4. Set notification type:
  - **Standard:** a reminder
  - **Task:** a task that the recipient can mark as done
5. Write the communication message
6. Attach up to 5 pieces of content (optional), namely products, customers, images, or PDFs

> ℹ️ The user who created the notification will receive a notification confirming that their notification has been sent, as well as the notification itself - see screenshot below.
